Mortal Kombat Co-Creator and Creative Director at NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon has been teasing a character reveal for Mortal Kombat X on Twitter the past few days.
Last night it was revealed that the latest character to join the game would be Quan Chi. In the video trailer for the character, NetherRealm Executive Producer Shaun Himmerick introduces Quan Chi and his three fighting styles; summoner, warlock and sorcerer.
The trailer shows Quan Chi squaring off against Kano, whom with he has a very pointed discussion at the end.
Mortal Kombat X will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in April 2015.
