Ubisoft Singapore under investigation over harassment claims

The Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices is acting on a report by Kotaku.

Skull & Bones developer Ubisoft Singapore is under investigation after allegations of harrassment and unfair treatment, The Straits Times reports.

The newspaper says that The Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) is investigating the studio following a damning report by Kotaku published last month.

Back in July, Kotaku stated that Skull & Bones had been plagued with mismanagement, annual reboots and a lack of “clear creative vision” and told tales of sexual harrassment and workplace discrimination.

TAFEP will conduct an internal investigation, interviewing staff within Ubisoft Singapore. Following the investigation, the organisation could require Ubisoft Singapore to implement new policies to prevent future issues, or even prevent the studio from creating work passes for foreign employees.
