Ubisoft: “It’s too soon” to confirm Assassin’s Creed: Origins in 1080p/60fps on Xbox One X

Ubisoft has responded to a report that Assassin’s Creed: Origins will offer an 1080p, 60 frames-per-second experience on the Xbox One X.

The publisher has made comment after YouTuber Dee Batch alleged the mode is in the works.

“It’s too soon for to say as of today as the game framerate has not been locked yet,” an Ubisoft representative told DualShockers.

“Our goal is take full advantage of the hardware horsepower to deliver the best possible experience on all platforms.  Assassin’s Creed Origins will use dynamic resolution rendering, so the resolution will adapt to ensure a smooth frame rate and the best image possible in all situations.”

In other words: patience.

We’ll have more on Assassin’s Creed: Origins as it’s made available. The title heads to Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC on 27 October. The powerful Xbox One X follows in November.
