Ubisoft holding back Wii U party game until there is a bigger market

Ubisoft announced back at E3 2014 they were holding back a completed Wii U game until there was a bigger market for the system. That game has been revealed by Unseen 64 as Know Your Friends, a party game based around how well you, um, know your friends. You can watch some of the gameplay below, thanks to Nintendo World Report.

It isn’t a surprise that the withheld project from Ubisoft is a party game, though how long they plan to hold out before releasing it, or if it will come out at all is unknown. Ubisoft haven’t had a great run with Wii U software, Watch Dogs has suffered long delays before arriving late last year. Their launch titles sold poorly despite being well received, ZombiU is still the most interesting third party use of the Wii U Tablet and Rayman Legends remains one of the systems best games.
