Two free courses coming to Rory McIlroy PGA Tour

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour may have shipped with less than half the number of real golf courses of last generation’s Tiger Woods games, but EA Sports is making an effort to fix that with the announcement of two (sort of) new courses available free to all players.

The first is the full release of the pre-order bonus course TPC Scottsdale, which will be made available 11 August. The second and more interesting free course is East Lake Golf Club, which will be available late September. You can check out screenshots and more information over at the EA Sports blog.

While new courses won’t make McIlroy a better golf game, free downloadable content is always a nice change of pace with EA Sports games and a nice gesture for a series that EA has announced they won’t be annualising. Rory McIlroy PGA Tour is available now for Xbox One and PS4, you can check out our review here.
