Twitch has made more changes to its service after its recent acquisition by Google.
The service advised it will mute archived videos that contain “unauthorized third-party audio”. Past streams will be held between 14-60 days, with highlights under two hours stores indefinitely,
“In order to create a system that supports live and [archived streams] across the globe and on multiple platforms, we need to make significant changes to the way we’re currently storing video,” Twitch CEO Emmet Shear said.
Is this the first nail in Twitch’s coffin?
