Details regarding Battlefield 4: “Final Stand” have been unveiled by DICE today and it will see players battling it out in the “arctic landscape of Russia.”
“Final Stand” will include four “unique and distinct” maps set against the harsh backdrop of the Russian winter. DICE told players to expect “intense, infantry-focused combat.”
New and secret prototype weapons and vehicles will be available in the expansion including a kinetic energy rail gun and a hover tank.
DICE also announced that it is bringing one map per day from “Final Stand” into the Community Test Environment (CTE). The servers will run one map per day — starting today — with limited player slots available. There are new places open for the CTE now and to sign up you’ll need a Battlefield Premium account and head to the CTE website.
