Tomb Raider Reloaded is a free-to-play mobile game coming in 2021

Classic Lara is back.

Tomb Raider Reloaded was today announced by Square Enix, a free-to-play mobile title that features heroine Lara Croft in her classic visage.

Developed by Emerald City Games — the developers of G.I. Joe War on Cobra) — Tomb Raider Classic has a slightly cartoony feel and does away with the realism seen in Crystal Dynamics’ recent reboot franchise. While the trailer (below) doesn’t really detail what players can fully expect, we spotted a T-Rex in there… and, of course, ooky spiders. Yuck.

A “free to play action arcade game”, Tomb Raider Reloaded is expected on mobile devices in 2021. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
