Thousands of MMORPG players gather to remember Paris terror attack victims

As vigils were held worldwide over the weekend to remember those who lost their lives in the recent terror attack in Paris, so too were they held online.

Players inside Final Fantasy XIV gathered across myriad servers in the amphitheatre of Gridania, as reported by DualShockers. Similar vigils were held in World of WarcraftEVE Online, Guild Wars 2, Star Trek Online and many more.

While our best wishes go out to those affected by the attacks in Paris, this is not enough. Those wanting to do more can donate to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) or Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières.
