Back in March, during an SXSW Festival Panel, Telltale told fans they shouldn’t expect to see The Walking Dead: Season 3 “super soon”, but that they will see “The Walking Dead again, sooner.”
Now, Telltale’s PR Director Job Stauffer has confirmed on Twitter that The Walking Dead: Season 3 will not commence in 2015, but that something The Walking Dead is in development.
To re-clarify, no, TWD S3 is *not* starting in 2015. But what I am seeing this week will be, and it is insanely cool. Stay close, news soon!

A disappointed fan tweeted to Stauffer “…. No Telltale Walking Dead in 2015”, to which Stauffer replied “I didn’t say that…. ;)”
This series of tweets indicates that Telltale is likely working on something akin to The Walking Dead: 400 Days which bridges the gap between Seasons 1& 2.
