The Platinum in Diablo 4’s Battle Pass isn’t enough to buy a single in-game item

Talk about being stingy.

The Platinum earnable inside Diablo 4‘s Battle Pass isn’t enough to buy a single in-game item, let alone next season’s new Battle Pass.

Redditors have confirmed that those who max out the current, paid Battle Pass will receive a total of 666 Platinum, far short of the in-game store’s cheapest 800 Platinum price point.

While the nod to hell is acknowledged with 666, most players aren’t happy with the revelation.

“With what, 30 items in the store(?), you’d expect you’d be able to buy at least one of them,” wrote Tobikaj. “Then again, all expectations are out the window with this company.”

“It’s a shame, as I imagine to get the premium pass next season, it’ll cost more than 666 plat,” added _arcade_. “At least with Battlefield 2042, of all… things, they give you enough coins with each pass to get the next seasons without paying anything.”

As per our analysis of Platinum costs in Australian dollars, the rewards provide around $9 AUD of goods.

Diablo 4 is already under fire for a patch that its own devs acknowledged prevent most playing from truly enjoying the new content. Fixes are being planned.

Diablo 4 is now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; Season 1 is live now.
