The International Compendium returns to Dota 2

The International Compendium, Dota 2’s own crowdfunding campaign, has returned again to help fund the prize pool of this years installment of The International and to reward players with all kinds of fancy items.

Players can unlock special taunts, couriers and other treasures by purchasing the compendium and gaining levels. Players get rewards every level for the first 15 levels, and then every 5 levels thereafter. To level up their compendium, players must either earn points through in-game challenges or purchase them directly.

There are also stretch goals unlocked as the prize pool climbs higher which will be available to anybody who purchases the compendium. The prize pool is currently sitting just shy of $6 million USD, having unlocked a handful of goals already.

The compendium tracks stats for the official Dota 2 tournaments held leading up to The International, and for The International itself. Two variations of the compendium are available for purchase, a regular level 1 compendium sets you back $9.99 USD while a level 50 one (complete with all pre level 50 rewards) is available for $26.99 USD.
