... and it works.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is sprinting towards its release, and today has made its main theme available to eager butchers.
Called “The Massacre”, the asymettrical horror title’s main theme is by Ross Tregenza, featuring Wes Keltner.
You can listen to it — and check out some haunting visuals at the same time — below.
Tregenza said that the main theme was “made of pig screams, chainsaws, [and] scraped metal,” and features instruments including the Soma Lyra drone machine. Keltner also took advantage of the Apprehension Engine, a “custom-made musical instrument played by the likes of Mark Korven and Trent Reznor,” according to Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre heads to Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 in 2023; it will be part of Xbox and PC Game Pass at launch.
