A Super Smash Bros Ultimate stage builder mode has been leaked by a new ad ahead of an official reveal by Nintendo.
The ad, below, shows a young boy unlocking Inkling as a fighter before joining up with friends for some frenzied fun. In a split-second moment right at the start of the video, however, you’ll notice the “Stage Builder” menu item on-screen.
The mode itself isn’t a huge surprise — after all, we’ve seen similar inside Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Closer to present day, both a Stage Builder and Home Run modes have been discovered by dataminers. It’s only a matter of time, eh?
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is currently available on Nintendo Switch. Its first batch of DLC characters, including Persona 5‘s Joker, are expected soon. We’ll keep you posted.
