Super Smash Bros Ultimate Nintendo Direct coming this week

A Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct has been confirmed for later this week, Nintendo has confirmed.

The Direct will air at 12.01 am AEST on 9 August here in Australia (or you can check your own timezone here).

While details on what will actually be revealed are scarce, Nintendo has promised “new game information delivered by director Masahiro Sakurai.”

Back at E3 2018, Nintendo confirmed the name of the Switch’s iteration of Super Smash Bros. alongside the news every fighter from the franchise’s history would be returning for Ultimate. Exciting news, eh?

We’ll report back after the Direct with all the news that is dropped.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is planned for release on Nintendo Switch in December 2018.
