Suicide Squad game to have Joker DLC

But... isn't he dead?

The Suicide Squad game will apparently have Joker DLC despite the character dying in the earlier, canonical Batman Arkham series, developer Rocksteady has teased.

“One last thing before we go,” Rocksteady community manager Darroch Brown said as part of a recent Discord Q&A session. “Since we just finished talking about our endgame, here’s a tease for something that might come even later…”

Brown then shared the image seen above, a still of Harley Quinn standing in front of a Joker-themed building. There was also a still of a “Daily Chuckle” newspaper — a take on the “Daily Planet” — with a similarly Joker-themed motif.

The question, then, is how does the Joker factor into Suicide SquadSpoilers ahead: the character died from Titan poisoning back in Batman Arkham City and was cremated at the beginning of Batman Arkham Knight.

According to leaker Miller Ross, this Joker could be an alternate universe — dare we say another multiverse version — of Joker. Time will tell.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is planned for a 2 February release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5.
