Street Fighter V’s second beta takes place this month, tests cross-play between PC andPS4

Capcom has announced the dates for the second beta test for Street Fighter V and it’s happening this month.

The second global beta will commence 22 October and finish 25 October and will be testing the cross-play functionality between PC and PS4 users. This beta test will be the first time that PC players get a chance to play and will gain access from 24 October. The cross-platform play will be tested 24 and 25 October, once PC players have come online.

The characters available this time around include Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika. Rashid will be added 23 October and Karin 24 October. The characters from the first beta — Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash and M. Bison — won’t be playable this time around.

The beta will also include ranked matchmaking, combined leaderboards, player search functionality and the ability to spend Fight Money on unlocks.

Those who had access to the first beta on PS4 will automatically gain access to the second.

Street Fighter V will be available for PC and PS4 in March 2016.
