Stray Gods the big winner of the AGDAs 2023

A full list of Australian Game Development Awards 2023 winners can be found below.

Stray Gods walked away the big winner of the Australian Game Development Awards 2023 (or AGDAs 2023), not only taking home Game of the Year but a number of other awards.

Other big winners include PlaySide Studios as Studio of the Year, League of Geeks’ Trent Kusters as the Adam Lancman Award recipient, Dylan Bennett and Caitlin Lomax as the recipients of the Empower Award, and O’Sauraus Studios as winner of the MIGW Award.

  • Excellence in Mobile Games: My Little Pony: Mane Merge by Gameloft Brisbane
  • Excellence in AR/VR Games: Espire 2: Stealth Operatives by Digital Lode Immersive Media
  • Excellence in Ongoing Games: Wylde Flowers by Studio Drydock
  • Studio of the Year: PlaySide Studios
  • Adam Lancman Award: League of Geeks’ Trent Kusters
  • Empower Award: Dylan Bennett and Caitlin Lomax
  • MIGW Award: O’Sauraus Studios
  • Game of the Year: Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical by Summerfall Studios

Stray Gods was a Herculean effort from all involved, and we are deeply grateful to receive this award, and to the Australian game development community for all the support over the years,” said Summerfall’s Liam Esler in a statement.
