Delta Chronicles is out now.
Star Trek Voyager Across the Unknown has added a host of new content today in the form of an Expansion pass, its first story-based DLC, and a free update called Patch 1.8.
New story-based DLC (with or without the Expansion Pass)
“Now available, the first DLC ‘Delta Chronicles’ presents five new side missions based on some of the series’ most memorable episodes – Distant Origin, The Omega Directive, Cold Fire, Homestead and Inside Man – each with the branching decisions and meaningful consequences that define the base game, allowing players to choose different outcomes than in the show,” Daedalic and gameXcite said in a press release.”
The story-based DLC also added a holographic Reginald Barclay and Voth Professor Forra Gegen, alongside four new NPC ships including a Voth City Ship and a Ferengi Marauder. New technologies also round out the DLC.
The DLC is available as a standalone purchase (provided you own the base game), costing $14.95 AUD. It’s also included as part of the game’s new Expansion Pass, which costs $44.95 AUD and will will offer three future pieces of DLC.
The Expansion Pass adds four pieces of DLC in total
While providing immediate access to the Delta Chronicles DLC, the Expansion Pass will also offer up three more pieces of DLC in future. The next adds the U.S.S. Equinox as a playable ship, while remaining DLC will add new stories and a new sector to the game.
“Highlights on the horizon include a second set of side missions, the USS Equinox as a playable starship for an upcoming game mode and a new sector based on one of the most celebrated episodes in Voyager history,” Daeldalic and gameXcite said. “In total, the Expansion Pass includes four premium DLCs, each adding substantial new content to the game – from new story missions and playable characters to new ships and new technologies – and thus entirely new ways to experience the Delta Quadrant, warranting another playthrough even for seasoned Captains.”

If you don’t own Voyager Across the Universe yet, the base game is currently on sale for $38.46 AUD here in Australia. The base game, its Deluxe DLC, and the new Expansion Pass have all been bundled for $90.05 AUD at the moment.
Free content also included
Patch 1.8, available today, also brings new, free additions to the adventure title.
“Patch 1.8 brings a broad range of free content and improvements to Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, including seven new ship quests and events, refined tech tree descriptions, UI upgrades, adjusted balancing, and quality-of-life improvements shaped in close collaboration with the game’s highly active community,” gameXcite and Daedalic said.
“The team is committed to a series of free updates for all players,” they continued. “In addition to the recently released Delta Flyer, further free content is planned – including new ship quests and, later this year, a major new game mode taking Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown in an exciting new direction with countless hours of additional playtime.”
