Star Trek Online adds Kelvin Timeline Starship Bundle with six ships

Alongside other goodies.

Star Trek Online has today added the Kelvin Timeline Starship Bundle, one that packages three starships, four additional ship variants, and more.

Available now on Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and heading to Xbox One and PS4 on 4 August, the bundle honours the Kelvin timeline series of Star Trek films: 2009’s Star Trek, 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness, and 2016’s Star Trek Beyond.

“The Kelvin Timeline… reimagined Captain Kirk, Spock, and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise for a new generation of fans,” Arc Games said in a new press release. “Adapting the films’ bold visual style and distinctive starship designs, Star Trek Online expands these fan-favorite cinematic vessels into fully playable starships, with original gameplay mechanics, exclusive cosmetics, and premium rewards that celebrate the blockbuster films.”

The bundle includes three starships, each with a variant — and all available for separate purchase — alongside six bundle exclusives containing costumes, a title, a console, and a new vanity shield. Here’s what captains can expect:

  • Salcombe Intel Escort: Includes the bonus “Dartmouth” visual variant, inspired by prime-timeline Section 31 starships.
  • Armstrong Miracle Worker Dreadnought Cruiser: Includes the bonus “Aldrin” visual variant, inspired by the Galaxy-class from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
    • Also includes the bonus “Mayflower” visual variant from Star Trek: 2009.
  • Newton Command Science Carrier: Includes the bonus “Leibniz” visual variant, inspired by the Sagan-class from Star Trek: Picard.
  • Bundle Exclusives:
    • Costume: Starfleet Uniform 2233
    • Extreme Temperature EV Suit
    • Costume: Vulcan Cold Weather Jacket
    • Console – Universal – Red Matter Containment Breach: Unstable Red Matter is a dangerous substance. Affected foes take heavy Radiation Damage and get banished for a short time. Some residual Red Matter sticks to the affected foes, exploding again after enemies return from banishment, causing additional Radiation Damage. More resilient foes can avoid banishment, but the residual Red Matter still harms them.
    • Kelvin Radiance Vanity Shield
    • Title: Event Horizon Survivor
