Return of the Mammalians.
Splatoon 3 was further detailed by Nintendo at an ongoing Nintendo Direct.
Today’s look focused on its story mode, titled “Return of the Mammalians”.
The title was first announced back in February of this year.
“In the wake of chaos, enter the sun scorched Splatlands and the new city, Splatsville, inhabited by battle-hardened Inklings and Octolings,” Nintendo said at the time. “New weapons, moves, and more await, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates in the future.”
Splatoon 3 will take place “in another world” and is expected sometime in 2022 on Nintendo Switch. We’ll put today’s trailer below when available.
