Sonic Lost World races into stores this October

Our good friends over at Vooks stayed up late to watch the Nintendo Direct last night and are reporting that Nintendo began proceedings with a look at Sonic: Lost World.

Nintendo treated fans to some brand new footage, but more importantly revealed that the game would be heading to Europe on 18 October, four full days before the US. While an Australian date wasn’t revealed, going by past releases we can expect Sonic: Lost World to launch here 19 October.

The connectivity between the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game were revealed during the Direct. As reported by Vooks:

You will be able to create and customise radio-controlled gadgets on the Nintendo 3DS version of the game and send them to your Wii U. You can then use these gadgets in the games co-op mode.

Once we have a confirmed Australia release date we’ll be sure to let you all know.

Sonic: Lost Word will be available for 3DS and Wii U in Europe on 18 October and North America on 22 October.
