Smite will allow PC players a one off carry-over of purchases to Xbox One version

Smite, Hi-Rez Studios entry into the MOBA genre, is about to debut on the Xbox One after coming to PC in March last year. Naturally that gives players plenty of time to spend their hard earned, but those jumping over to the console version of the game won’t be left in the lurch.

Speaking with IGN, Hi-Rez Studios COO Todd Harris said the studio is working with Microsoft to make a one-time “carry over” of purchases possible. Harris confirms this will apply to North America and Europe initially, though Australia and New Zealand are classed as Ocenania on the community sites, it is believed we will fall into Europe in this situation.

The Xbox One beta for Smite is taking signups now.
