Skull and Bones release date set for 16 February 2024

Is it finally time?

Update: Ubisoft today confirmed at the Game Awards 2023 that Skull & Bones will release on 16 February 2024.

Original story: The oft-delayed Skull & Bones is reportedly targeting a February 2024 release. Specifically, a 16 February 2024 release date.

Insider Gaming is behind this latest report, suggesting that Ubisoft will announce Skull & Bones within the next few weeks. A Game Awards 2023 announcement could be the way in which Ubisoft does this; the event takes place next Friday here in Australia.

Skull & Bones was announced way back in 2017, off the back of the popularity of Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag. Since that time, it’s been delayed into 2019, and then delayed into 2020.

After that, Skull & Bones was rumoured to be rebooted, and then was delayed into a 2022-2023 launch window.

After that — and we’re almost up to date, I promise — Skull & Bones had November 2022 release date, before being delayed into 2023. FINALLY, the title received two more delays — one in early 2023 and one in late 2023.
