Shazam 2 and The Flash movies have been confirmed for 2022 releases by DC Comics and Warner Bros.
First, Shazam 2 will head to theatres on 1 April 2022 — and this is not an April Fool’s joke — with star Zachary Levi back as the titular Shazam. The film is being produced in conjunction with a Black Adam film starring The Rock.
Next, Ezra Miller will star as Barry Allen/The Flash in The Flash, which has been scheduled for a 1 July 2022 release.
In non-superhero film news from Warner Bros, we can expect The Matrix 4 on 21 May 2021.
