With the PS4’s 2.00 update (Masamune), the console now has the ability to share gameplay videos directly to YouTube as well as a dedicated YouTube app.
While you aren’t able to stream your gameplay directly to YouTube, being able to edit via the Share button or SHARE Factory and then upload directly to YouTube is a huge improvement over Facebook’s, frankly poor, video capabilities.
The app allows users to browse YouTube and watch videos, which is pretty much as expected.
Along with YouTube support, Masamune added new voice commands, themes and more.
