Shadowrun and more now backwards compatible on Xbox One

Microsoft today confirmed that three new Xbox 360 titles are now backwards compatible on Xbox One.

From today, you’ll be able to play the following on your current-gen Xbox:

  • Shadowrun
  • Space Ark
  • Shotest Shogi

Shadowrun was one of the first titles to allow for cross-platform play. Microsoft’s since scrapped that game-by-game strategy for the Xbox Play Anywhere program.

If you own a compatible game digitally, you’ll be able to download it under your Xbox One’s My Games & Apps section. If you own a compatible game physically, simply insert its disc into your Xbox One to begin the download process.
