Sega “may consider” releasing additional Yakuza titles to the west

Sega may bring unreleased Yakuza titles to the west if there is enough demand for them, Yakuza Series Producer, Daisuke Sato, recently confirmed.

In conversation with PlayStation Access, Sato said Sega “may consider” a western release of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 on PS4 should sales of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life warrant it.

Western audiences will soon have access to more than half the titles released in the franchise’s main series. Yakuza 0 is one of the latest titles in the franchise, serving as a prologue. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza and the upcoming Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a remake of Yakuza 2Yakuza 6 was recently released on PS4.
