Rockstar offering free game with Grand Theft Auto V PC pre-orders

Rockstar are offering some enticing bonuses for pre-ordering the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V through their online store. For a 15% non-refundable deposit you get in-game currency to the value of $500,000 each in GTA V and GTA Online, plus another $300,000 for GTA Online should you get your order in before 1 February. Pre-ordering before that date also nets you an immediate free game download from the Rockstar library, Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, Bully, Midnight Club and individual games from the GTA back catalogue are available.

The Rockstar Warehouse also promises pre-loading before release but doesn’t mention Steam. You can transfer existing GTA Online characters from the console versions of the game to PC, and the PC version boasts the current-gen first person mode as well as the best graphical experience. Rockstar Warehouse is charging $89.95 AUD for the game, about the same price you’ll find at other online stores and on shelves (especially now the Australian dollar is falling, though those dedicated enough to get around regional pricing at stores such as Green Man Gaming can find better deals). Grand Theft Auto V arrives on PC 24 March.
