Riot Games’ founders working on a new title

Riot Games is working on a new title, finally adding another AAA game to its library that’s not League of Legends.

Riot Games was founded back in 2006; apart from some tabletop games and a handful of several smaller releases, nothing major apart from League of Legends has been released by the studio.

In a new blog post, it was revealed that founders Brandon ‘Ryze’ Beck and Marc ‘Tryndamere’ Merrill will be handing over management of League of Legends to Riot CFO Dylan Jadeja, CTO Scott Gelb and President Nicolo Laurent so they can work on the studio’s second title.

“We are thrilled to be able to have a great team of such capable leaders and look forward to working with them to finally put the ‘s’ in Riot Games,” the pair detailed.

The new title was not detailed, but we’ll keep you in the loop as we learn more.

Are you excited at the prospect of something new from Riot Games? Why or why not?
