Riot Games aims high with League of Legends patch 4.20

Today Riot Games released a tonne of information about the upcoming League of Legends preseason beginning in patch 4.20. We’ll be seeing changes affecting everything from towers and the jungle to the buffs given by the dragon and Baron.

You can check out the dedicated preseason page here, read the text wall that is the patch notes here or watch the “Preseason Spotlight” below.

Patch 4.20 also features a visual update for League champion Maokai and the release of new champion Kalista, the Spear of Vengeance.

Finally, Riot also announced a new rule change for the upcoming split of the League of Legends Championship Series. The Head Coach of a team will now be allowed to be present on stage with the team during the pre-match pick-ban phase, and will also be formally recognised as a team member by Riot.
