Resident Evil RE:Verse goes live in July, says Capcom

Are you going to jump in?

Resident Evil RE:Verse will go live sometime in July, Capcom has today confirmed.

The news came as part of Capcom’s E3 2021 livestream, and was delivered by Tsuyoshi Kanda.

Meant to be bundled in with Resident Evil Village — which was released back in May 2021 — RE:Verse is an entirely online affair featuring iconic characters like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jack Baker and the Nemesis as they square off locations all around the Raccoon City Police Department.

Rather than releasing alongside Village, RE:Verse was been plagued with issues, including an open beta that was suspended almost immediately after its launch due to matchmaking issues.

Resident Evil Village is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5. RE:Verse will now follow sometime in July 2021; we’ll keep you posted on an exact date.
