Resident Evil 7’s Japanese-only Inside Report files are being translated into English

English translations of Japanese Resident Evil 7 files by Alex ‘CVXFreak’ Aniel provide tremendous insight into the development of Capcom’s recent first-person horror game.

Aniel has translated Files 1 and 2 of RE7‘s Inside Report. The files were packaged inside the Japanese Resident Evil 7 Complete Edition, written in co-operation with Capcom by Toru Shiwasu of Dengeki PlayStation.

File 1 begins at RE7’s E3 2016 announcement, while File 2 revolves around the game’s actual origins.

Translations of the game’s first two files can be found here and here.

Resident Evil 7 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
