Resident Evil 4 gets Separate Ways, Mercenaries update on 21 September

About time.

The Resident Evil 4 remake will get Ada’s Separate Ways DLC alongside an update to the Mercenairies mode on 21 September, Capcom has advised.

In Separate Ways — which also featured in the PS2 version of the original RE4, taking over from Assignment: Ada — players will control Ada Wong as she works behind the scenes to assist Leon… and herself.

The DLC was spotted as part of a datamine back at the remake’s release; Capcom has kept quiet about it until this time. The announcement was made as part of a PlayStation VR2 segment during Sony’s newest State of Play livestream.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is now available on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; we reviewed it here.
