Razer Game Store closing at the end of the month

The Razer Game Store will be closing at the end of the month, Razer has today detailed.

The store will close its virtual doors at 1.00 am PT 28 February, or 8.00 pm AEDT on that very same day. Players have the opportunity to redeem game keys until that time.

According to the company, the closure of the store is a result of the  “company’s realignment plans,” with Razer saying it will instead be “investing in other ways to deliver great content and introduce game promotions through Razer Gold.” Razer Gold is the company’s reward system.

All games redeemed through the Razer Game Store will still be playable via either Steam or Uplay following the closure, Razer confirmed. A full FAQ can be found here.
