Prince of Persia Lost Crown demo now available

One week before the game itself.

Update: The Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo is now available, just one week from the game’s proper launch.

You can grab the demo on PC, Xbox or PlayStation right here.

Jay’s review of the title went up earlier today. Awarding it 9.5/10, Jay wrote, “The Lost Crown encapulates everything an excellent Metroidvania game should while respectfully honouring the Prince of Persisa IP by bringing it somewhat back to its roots. Much like the game that started it all, everyone should have a copy of Prince of Persia.”

Original story [8 December 2023]: A Prince of Persia The Lost Crown demo will be made available one week before the game itself, if a new leaked trailer is to be believed.

The Portugese language trailer is still currently visible over on Twitter and details the demo around the two-minute mark. The demo will be made available on 11 January 2024, exactly one week before the title’s 18 January 2024 release.

The Lost Crown was announced back in June of this year; gameplay shortly followed.

“In this brand-new adventure, players will embody Sargon, a young, gifted warrior and member of an elite group called The Immortals,” Ubisoft said in a press release that originally detailed the title.

“Dash into a stylish and thrilling action-adventure platformer set in a mythological Persian world where the boundaries of time and space are yours to manipulate,” Ubisoft added.

Expect Prince of Persia The Lost Crown from 18 January 2024 on Windows PC via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
