Pokémon reach for the skies in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

For the longest time, Pokémon enthusiasts were stuck on land and water, only able to look wistfully at the sky and dream of what might be up there, waiting to be jammed into a small ball and used as a tool of battle. Wonder no more, trainers, as the latest dual instalments of Pokémon, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, will include the ability to ride Pokémon into the sky (where they can also be found and captured) according to translations of Japanese magazine CoroCoro Comics by Pokémon fan site Serebii.

More Mega Evolutions were also revealed in the magazine, for Latios, Latias, Pidgeot and Beedrill. Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are both available from 22 November on 3DS, with a demo coming in a couple of days.
