Pokemon Go Beyond will raise in-game level cap, more

Pokemon Go will see some drastic changes in the form of its Go Beyond update, including a new level cap, the introduction of Seasons and more.

First, players will be able to move beyond the current level cap of 40 and work towards a new cap of 50 when the update is released. Moreover, developer Niantic has declared that it is revisiting the levelling system to make it “more fun than ever.” The changes to levelling will be tested by a select group in Australia, so hit up the app to see if you’re one of the lucky few.

Next, Seasons will be introduced to the game, essentially a combination of the live and in-game events that have been featured in Pokemon Go since its launch.

Finally the game will expand to include Pokemon from the Kalos region. These new Pokemon will be added from 2 December.

Pokemon Go is currently available on iOS and Android devices. For more on the changes, head here.
