Players have nearly murdered earth’s population in Uruks since Shadow of Mordor’s release

Monolith and Warner Bros. have released an infographic celebrating just how much time players have been spending with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor since its release last year.

The biggest and baddest stat is that all players combined have managed to kill 5.65 billion Uruks at a rate of 76 per hour. That is nearly the current human population of earth. Mind boggling stuff. Even more brilliant is that fact that 1.3 billion Uruks have died at the hands of other Uruks, bringing the total number of Uruk deaths since 30 September 2014 to 6.95 billion.

Other interesting tidbits include that over 200 million Uruks have been dominated, 95.6 million unique nemeses have been generated and 72 million total player deaths have occured at the hands of Uruks. A little one sided isn’t it?

The data was collected between launch day and 31 January 2015 and includes players across PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is available now for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
