EA and Popcap officially unveiled Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 today.
It will feature six new character classes from the past present and future and a range of new game modes, weapons and levels.
Characters include Captain Deadbeard — the zombies’ first sniper class — the Imp and more.
In the live gameplay demo we saw a Giga Torchwood plant enemy and the Imp character upgrading himself with a mech, Titanfall style.
Playable both in multiplayer and the new solo play feature, PvZGW2 can be played online or in local split-screen.
All players of the original title will be able to transfer all of their unlocked content into the sequel. Free content updates will be released post-launch in order to keep the community alive.
Coming in Autumn 2016, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
