Persona 5 Strikers western release confirmed for February 2021 on PS4, PC, Switch

The news comes from a trailer uploaded by Atlus itself.

Update 2: Here’s the Persona 5 Strikers official Nintendo Switch announcement trailer. Enjoy!

Update: Atlus has acknowledged its trailer snafu, taking to Twitter to confirm an official reveal will take place later this week.

“Our communications have been intercepted by the Phantom Thieves,” the tweet reads. “All will be revealed December 8.”

It’s likely the reveal will take place on 9 December here in Australia. We’ll keep you posted.

Original story: The Persona 5 Strikers western release will take place on 23 February 2021 across Windows PC, PS4 and Switch, a trailer uploaded (and then removed) by Atlus has confirmed.

The title, a hack-and-slash action adventure set in the world of Persona 5, was originally titled Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers in Japan. That title has been available — without English language localisation — on PS4 and Switch since 20 February 2020. It deviates from the traditional turn-based nature of Persona with real-time combat akin to Dynasty Warriors.

Gematsu copied the trailer before Atlus had removed it; it’s below. The release is quite notable as it brings the popular franchise to Windows PC for the first time.

We’ll have more on Persona 5 Strikers as news is made available.
