Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus heads to Switch in February

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus will debut on Nintendo Switch later this month, Bandai Namco has confirmed.

“This game includes Pac-Man Championship Edition 2, which features a number of gameplay modes including Score Attack mode, Adventure mode and big boss battles, giving players endless opportunity to build on and improve their skills,” Bandai Namco said of the new release.

“Beloved ghosts, Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde will be in hot pursuit as PAC-MAN furiously devours Pac Dots and players chase the high score for a coveted spot at the top of the leaderboards.”

The release also comes with a two player co-op mode called Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus 2P.

Team up on a single Nintendo Switch with each player controlling their Pac-Man character with a single Joy-Con across multiple mazes to rack up the highest score possible. Special co-op manoeuvres give this mode a unique spin on traditional Pac-Man.

Look for Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus on Nintendo Switch from 22 February.
