Blizzard used Germany’s Gamescom event to announce a new map set in the country.
Eichenwalde is set in an abandoned castle in Stuttgart, Germany, and will act as an Assault/Escort hybrid map.
Available from September, we’ll be able to try out the map here on the Gamescom floor. Expect our thoughts shortly.
Blizzard will also be unveiling a new animated short — “The Last Bastion” — at Gamescom later in the week. Expect that from 2.00 am AEST on 19 August.
