Onimusha Way of the Sword demo available now

And we also have a September release date.

A surprise Onimusha Way of the Sword demo was announced during Sony’s State of Play, and is available now.

“Get a taste of the exhilarating swordplay action for yourself! Experience one of the opening stages of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, an all-new entry in Capcom’s swordplay action series, in the demo available now,” reads a description attached to a new trailer.

Despite this description, we’re not able to find the demo as yet, but we’re on the hunt. Maybe keep an eye on this link while we wait?

“Utilize parries, deflects, Issen, soul absorption, and an Oni Armament to fight your way through the Kiyomizu-dera Temple stage, and face Musashi’s formidable rival, Sasaki Ganryu,” the description continues.

Alongside the demo came news that the title has a release date: 25 September 2026.

Expect Onimusha Way of the Sword from 25 September 2026 on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
