The NHL 24 cover star is none other than defenseman extraordinaire (and Stanley Cup winner, and Norris Trophy winner) Cale Makar, who’s been shown off ahead of the game’s first reveal.
“Couldn’t be more excited to be on the cover for NHL 24,” Makar posted on Twitter.
Makar is the fifth defenseman to grace the cover of EA’s hockey franchise, following P.K. Subban, Dion Phaneuf, Chris Pronger and Scott Stevens.
NHL 24 will be revealed overnight here in Australia; the video below will premiere at 1.00 am AEST tomorrow, 17 August.
Expect NHL 24 on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5. We’ll have more as it’s made available.
