NHL 23 cross-platform matchmaking rolls out in November

For the rest of the month.

NHL 23 cross-platform matchmaking will begin to rollout later this week and will be done so over a series of four phases.

First, Ones Eliminator and HUT Rush will enable cross-platform matchmaking on 18 November here in Australia, followed by 6v6 EASHL and 3v3 drop-in on 22 November.

6v6 drop-in, HUT Champs, 3v3 EASHL and Threes Eliminator will follow on 24 November, and HUT Rivals concluding the rollout on 29 November.

Cross-platform matchmaking will mean those on Xbox Series S & X can play against those on PS5 (and vice versa), or those on Xbox One can play against those on PS4 (and vice versa). Again, and as we’ve detailed previously, players on different platforms can’t play with one another, just against them.

NHL 23 is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; we reviewed it here.
