New Monster Hunter World patch fixes Anjanath quest

A new Monster Hunter World patch has fixed an important assignment bug.

Update 1.04 for PS4 and 1.0.0.9 for Xbox One are now live, and address the following:

  • Fixed an issue where, in rare cases, the assignment “The Encroaching Anjanath” would not appear on the quest board during online play.
  • Made some readjustments to how Elderseal values are calculated.
  • The update will also include various minor bug fixes.

The Anjanath update is yet another fix to improve the incredibly shaky online component of the game. Last week’s Xbox One update, 1.0.0.8, was crucial in fixing online questing; prior to the update, Xbox One players could only play with others using direct invites rather than the in-game Quest Board.

Monster Hunter: World is available on Xbox One and PS4. It heads to Windows PC later this year.
