Ghost Games’ Need for Speed reboot will be powered by DICE’s Frostbite engine as confirmed by Johan Andersson, Technical Director on Frostbite.
Andersson also announced that the version of Frostbite being used on Need for Speed is the same one being used on Star Wars: Battlefront.

While we don’t know much about Need for Speed at this stage, we know that it has no subtitle and is a reboot of the franchise. Stay tuned for more info at E3.
