Carbine Studios has announced that its MMO Wildstar will be free-to-play from the end of this month and will transition from a subscription based model with the aide of a loyalty program.
Those players who hold subscriptions for the title will receive rewards if they continue to subscribe. A close beta has entered its second week as the developer tests the changes and updates which will see the move to free-to-play implemented.
The changes will come into effect 29 September.
Wildstar is available now for PC.
