Mixtape release date set for 7 May

Alongside news of a Switch 2 release.

The Aussie-made Mixtape now has a release date of 7 May, developer Beethoven & Dinosaur and publisher Annapurna Interactive have today revealed. Moreover, Mixtape will also see a release on the same day on Switch 2.

Mixtape follows three high school friends on their last night of adventure, set to the soundtrack of a generation,” the pair said of the upcoming game. “En route to their final party together, a perfectly curated playlist draws the trio into dreamlike reenactments of their formative memories. Experience a variety of narrative vignettes exploring the pivotal moments that shaped them. It’s the greatest hits of the teenage wasteland, from the first kiss to the last dance.”

The title was previously expected last year. We previewed it here.

If you like what you see, you can expect Mixtape on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch 2. The title will also be on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
